Leicestershire Marketing Communications Company Makes a Reel Investment

Funding for new film technology and professional skills training is helping a Leicestershire-based marketing communications agency to increase production.
Sileby-based The Phoenix Partners was established in 2002 and specialises in live events, video and film production, PR, incentive travel, logistics, motivation campaigns, marketing, advertising and graphic design.
With a client list that includes Canon Europe, BP, Castrol, Honda Motor Europe and National Grid, The Phoenix Partners has used a grant awarded by East Midlands New Technology Initiative (NTI) towards its own dedicated video editing equipment to enhance existing in-house client services.
Managing Director, Mark Huffington, says, “With an increased skill base this in turn will further increase the production of our work and enable us to work to even higher standards and greater budget control, because we will be using our own time and skills rather than employing external suppliers by the hour. The new equipment will greatly enhance our service offering in what is a very competitive and price-sensitive industry.”
Two full-time staff will also undertake professional skills training at De Montfort University.
