Environmental Consultancy Gets More Staff in the Field

Lincoln-based Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants Ltd, which specialises in providing business solutions to environmental compliance, sustainability and contaminated land issues, has invested in the latest technology to increase productivity.
The newly purchased monitoring and surveying equipment - made possible by support from East Midlands New Technology Initiative (NTI) - is essential for use in the field by Delta-Simons’ consultants. The company’s team has worked on major environmental, sustainability and contaminated land projects across the East Midlands and nationwide since 1992, and contracts have included Derby’s Westfield shopping centre, the redevelopment of Liverpool city centre and Riverside, Norwich.
Matthew Karran, financial controller at Delta-Simons, says: “The purchase of this equipment has allowed us to get more staff into the field. This will lead to an increase in both turnover and productivity and allow us to continually improve the services we provide to our clients.
“The grant will also enable the development of our employees’ skills, ensuring a more efficient and knowledgeable workforce to grow into opportunities necessary for business expansion.”
