Creative Industries Centres of Knowledge Exchange
The Creative Industries Centre for Knowledge Exchange has been highly successful to date. Highlights of the first 18 months have included named organisations working with students on final major projects, industry partners, staff secondments, and staff exchanges to other research-intensive centres for the digital entertainment industry.
The partnership between University of Derby and De Montfort University has consolidated and shared understanding and mutual benefits emerged as staff, students and the use of equipment purchased by the original NTI project has become more evident.
Building on the success of the last two years the CKE will continue student professional practice, staff professional practice, visits to other centres of excellence to gather knowledge to exchange. The high level strategy will extend the current BA/MA through to PhD and applied research.
