Our Networks

The NTI works closely with the East Midlands Development Agency (emda)  to support skills development, and knowledge transfer, from the region's universities and colleges to small and medium sized businesses working in the sectors listed below.

Different universities and colleges are working in partnership within each Network according to their sector expertise. This system ensures that small and medium sized businesses have access to both the latest high tech equipment within the universities and colleges, and the highest quality training.

Creative Industries The Creative Industries Network provides small and medium sized businesses working in the Creative Industries with a range of support, to purchase equipment and to develop high-level skills across the whole range of Interactive Multimedia activity.

Food & Drink Industries The Food and Drink Network focuses on helping small and medium sized business to innovate and increase their competitiveness through the purchase of high technology equipment and improving technical skills. Support services focus on training and education, developing new products, packaging innovations and manufacturing.

High Performance Engineering Industries The High Performance Engineering Network supports small and medium sized businesses working in Aerospace or Motorsport. The Network can help you invest in advanced technology and specialist training to develop employee skills.

Construction The Construction Industry Network’s objective is to provide small and medium sized businesses with grants for new technological advances, access to a wide range of training and education courses, and create opportunities to see and experience new, high-tech equipment.
