About NTI
The East Midlands New Technology Initiative (NTI) is backed by the region's leading colleges and universities. NTI provides grants to small and medium sized businesses to invest in state of the art technology and gain advanced technology skills through NTI approved courses.
NTI also provides grants to its Network of colleges and universities to invest in high tech equipment and for the development of Foundation degrees. Equipment purchased by the universities and colleges is available for use by local companies taking part in NTI programmes.
East Midlands NTI in the largest in the UK and recognised as a best practice model for all NTIs.
Our Structure
The East Midlands NTI Management team is based at the Innovation Centre, De Montfort University, Leicester.
The 23 colleges and universities within NTI are formed into 4 specialist Networks to enable them to target relevant businesses. The Networks are Construction, Food and Drink , Healthcare & Bioscience and High Performance Engineering
